My movie for this week is “To Kill a Mockingbird”. In this movie the major theme is according to me, racism and there is constant conflict between the blacks and the whites. When we have certain negative prejudices about a coloured person that is called Racism. The first example of the racism theme is when we see the house keeper of the Finchs whose name is Calpurnia. This in an obvious marker that the black belonged to the lower class of the society. There were different churches for blacks and whites. Again, when Aunt Alexandria asks Scout to not go to Calpurnia’s home it shows that the both classes were not supposed to be fixed. The underlying theme of the movie is also class wars.
